I believe that managing a business should feel empowering, not overwhelming. As the founder of Montreal Financial, I’ve spent over 20 years bridging the gap between complex accounting and the needs of Canadian entrepreneurs.
My mission is to help you move from financial uncertainty to total confidence. Whether you are self employed and just starting out or an established corporation looking for high-level oversight, I provide the roadmap to help you take the guesswork out of your business finances.
The Journey from Corporate to Community
Before launching my own practice, I worked as a Controller for multinational corporations in both Bermuda and Montreal. I saw firsthand how powerful clear financial data was for making big decisions, but I also saw that small business owners were often left to figure it out alone.
After 15 years in traditional practice, I realized that my most impactful work happened during one-on-one conversations. I saw brilliant entrepreneurs held back by a fear of their own finances, and I realized I could do more good by teaching people how to navigate the system than by simply doing it for them.
My mission today is to replace that financial "black hole" with clarity, helping you build a sustainable business on a foundation of real confidence. While I continue to provide high-level financial oversight for a select group of established corporations, I dedicate the majority of my time to creating accessible resources for the broader Canadian small business and self-employed community.
