My name is Ronika Khanna. I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the founder of Montreal Financial, an accounting, tax and financial consulting services business. After having worked as an accounting professional for several companies, both in Montreal and Bermuda, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and ING Risk Management Limited , I decided to launch my own business , focusing primarily on the accounting, tax and financial needs of small business owners, startups, freelancers and the self employed.
After having helped numerous small business over the past 15 years , I have accumulated a great deal of experience on the challenges of starting and maintaining a small business. My primary goal now is to help with these challenges and demystify concepts, especially as they pertain to finance and tax, so that business owners can feel less overwhelmed and more confident about their finances. I value clarity and simplicity and try to reflect this in my communications, which include:
Providing one on one consultation services.
Writing business books that help business owners at various stages in their journey.
Blogging regularly about topics of interest to small business owners.
Sending out a newsletter with a biweekly essay on a topic that I think is pertinent and useful to small businesses. I also provide links to other articles that have caught my fancy and include some useful small business, tax and QuickBooks tips.
Making occasional appearances on the radio and in the media including CBC, CJAD, The Toronto Star. Global News and The Globe and Mail. My latest appearances are below:
