Are You Financially Confident?

Hello All,

Many of us struggle to feel like we have control over our finances.

This can be due to a variety of reasons:

  • We don’t feel like we know enough about finances

  • We grew up in a household where money was scarce

  • We’ve been told (or believe) that we’re not good with numbers

  • We never seem to have enough money

  • We’ve made financial mistakes in the past and fear repeating them

  • We feel overwhelmed by the complexity of financial systems

  • We didn’t learn about money in school or through formal education

As anyone who reads this newsletter knows, I believe that everyone, with a little effort, can become financially confident.

The path to financial confidence is paved with curiosity, which leads to learning, which leads to action.

In the past, there were real barriers: limited access to financial knowledge, expensive advisors, and systems that weren’t always accessible to average people.

Today, those obstacles have largely gone away. You can start learning by searching on the internet, watching a video on YouTube, or asking ChatGPT.

When you ask yourself, “Where do I start?”—for most people, the answer includes some version of this:
Being able to meet your financial obligations, save consistently, and invest with intention.
Not perfectly, not all at once, but in a way that feels manageable and aligned with your goals.

Goals should be documented in a financial plan, in a way that makes sense to you. Your plan doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, there is almost a 100% chance that it will change.
But the very act of having a plan and a goal gives your financial actions direction.

I’d love to hear your stories: how financially confident do you feel right now? Are there any questions or obstacles you'd like me to address in the session?

Have a great weekend!

Ronika
